My Name

Jah-ven, ha-ven, and heaven. I think i heard it all already. I know it is not really that hard to pronounce but people are creative when figuring it out. I have become forgiving when i grew older and does not care much about how people mispronounce it and let them be. But for thor who would like to know, it is pronounced as jay-ven.

Some people are curious why my name is Javen because i am a girl and it is typically a name of a boy. But i am never curious about that, i am more curious why my parents named me it and not just choose a random well known name. I asked them before about it and they told me they just do not like the names during the 90s and want something unique but also must start with the letter J. Because apparently, they want our family’s names to start with J. I also found out that all my relatives’ names on my mother’s side starts their name with J. It has become an unspoken tradition like my brother’s name is Jeiance.

Through the internet, i found out my name meant the Son of Japhet and is a Hebrew origin. My middle initial is Ezebb and they are either from Ilocos Norte or Black Americans. While my surname Uriarte is either from the Mindanao or the Spain.

I am happy with my name and i think it is an edge that it is kind of unique especially for a woman. It kind of fits me because i am unique on mg own way. Also, nota typical girl to be with but still a woman who believes gender pr names cannot define you as a person or your work. You will only be remarkable if you do the best version of you.
